The beach is famous. The hour after the day boats leave is the one worth having.
White Bay on Jost Van Dyke is a short hop from Tortola’s west end. Sandy Cay sits next door. The photographs are real. So is the midday raft-up of shared boats and villa tenders.
Late afternoon. The day boats are heading home. The light goes gold. You can still swim. You can still walk the sand. If you want a table, we ask before you fly — we do not wander in at peak and look surprised.
Great Harbour if the group wants a village evening. A quieter hook on the same island if they do not. White Bay itself is a beach, not an overnight plan we force on a family with early sleepers.
Build a seven-night rate around one bar. Promise a private beach on a Saturday in February. Skip The Baths or Anegada because someone saw a t-shirt. Jost is a day in a good week. It is not the week.
