Who is aboard

Guests write about Captain David. He speaks English and Spanish, and he has sailed from East Africa to Central America, the Caribbean, and the Aegean. Chef Sofia is in the galley. Guests also write about Liall, who took the children tubing and showed them how to pick up a mooring. It is a small crew, and they stay with you for the week.

How the week goes

You board at Nanny Cay. The first night is a short sail, often Norman Island, with the caves in the morning if the landing is calm. The Baths come early, before the day boats. Then the North Sound, a long lunch, and a night among the islands there. Anegada is the long day, and only if the sea is kind. The way home is Jost Van Dyke, White Bay in the morning, and a quieter cove by dark. Friday is a last swim and the dock in time for a Saturday flight.

One meal

Lunch is the meal guests write home about. Sofia’s version is a plate after the swim, and a painkiller that one family said was better than the one at the Soggy Dollar. Dinner is the longer sitting, on this table, once the swim is done.

The table

Breakfast on deck. Lunch after the swim. Dinner is the long one, and guests keep writing about it. One guest, Stephanie, said the food was beautiful and detailed, and that nobody would have known it was gluten free. Lindsay wrote that the food was fabulous. A painkiller shows up in more than one note. The bar is the ship’s bar.

“What an amazing week we had with you. The food was fantastic and so was your service.”

Christine wrote that after a sixtieth birthday with friends. Wei called the week the best. A guest writing to Sofia and Liall said they brought a high standard of service to the islands, with the right amount of ease.
